Bookings can be made via our online booking system, this is a secure portal to enter all your details. Our website bookings are managed by Abode booking systems and you will be directed to their site www.smartbookings.co.nz when you choose to do an online booking and payment. Payments made via our website are encrypted through STRIPE
If you are unable to book online, you can call 0498 742 575 or email info@rosscaravanpark.com.au for assistance in making your booking.

Powered/Unpowered Sites - From 12 pm to 7pm
Heritage Tannery Rooms - 2 pm - 10 pm
Early check-in during the low shoulder season is often possible , please call 0498 742 575 to make a prior arrangement. Please note early check ins are not available during Dec - May and on other peak dates due to the high numbers of travellers. Cleaning and maintenance of the park needs to be attended to during 10am - 12pm daily to keep the Ross Caravan Park looking and running to a high standard for our guests.
Self-check-in can also be facilitated for those arriving after hours. Please contact us if you wish to arrive after 6pm. Bookings will need to be paid in full prior to self-check-in.

A late checkout may be possible in the low shoulder season if arranged in advance, please call 0498 742 575 to discuss.
Please note late check outs are not available during the peak season periods due to site maintenance and extra cleaning tasks at this time.

Our office is now located at Riverview at Ross which is 50 m before the Ross Caravan Park on Esplanade
We do not run a 24 hr reception if you wish to arrive after 6pm - arrangements need to be made with the office for a self check in
Office hours are subject to change but will be open from 12pm - 6pm daily through peak times
The manager or other office staff are available on the park mobile from 8.30 am - 8pm for bookings and enquiries - if noone answers please leave a message or send a text
Guests at the park have access to an emergency number outside of these hours.
When Ross Caravan Park is unattended, please call 0498 742 575, and our staff will call you back to assist you with your enquiry.
As a courtesy, you can notify our staff of your estimated time of arrival so they can be in attendance or arrange a self-check-in for you.

Please contact the reception to arrange a self check in - if on the day it is best to phone or text.
For self-check-in, payment must be received prior to your check-in date.
Details on how to make payment will be sent in your confirmation and reminder emails.

Your payment details will be required to secure your booking. A confirmation of your payments will be emailed to you.
Please note, your booking will be put on hold if your card is declined or will not transact. An email will be sent to inform you and contact must be made with the Park Manager to make payment or payment arrangements before your booking will be reconfirmed.

We understand that at times you may need to change or cancel your travel plans, so the following conditions apply:
Change of date: no charge, but subject to availability
Cancellation within 48 hours of check-in: fee equal to one night’s accommodation

For the comfort of all guests, we ask that you restrict noise between the hours of 10.30 pm and 7 am.

Please note, while we will make our best effort to accommodate your request, site selections are not guaranteed.
In our peak season we have many travellers looking for a place to stay for their holidays in Tasmania- each has a different requirement for size and each guests needs must be catered for - large set ups cannot access small sites and small set ups cannot access large sites. Please see site descriptions for size restrictions before booking.
In off peak times there is more flexibilty for guests to request sites.

Dogs: We allow well-behaved dogs all year round, including peak periods. Dogs must be secured on a leash at all times within the park boundary, or in a safe enclosure or crate within your site. Owners must pick up after them and poo bags can be found onsite. Barking dogs will need to be addressed by the owners and guests may be asked to leave if problems persist. We have pet friendly cabins - please call to enquire
Cats: We allow cats all year round in caravans/mobile homes only (not in tents), including all peak periods. Cats must be kept inside at all times.

Guests must notify the Park Manager of any expected visitors before their arrival. Visiting vehicles must park outside the park grounds. Any visitors not following the rules of the park or causing a disturbance will be asked to leave and may not stay in the park overnight unless the extra person fee is paid and it is approved by the Park Manager

All bookings are allocated 1 parking space for a car or 4WD including the heritage tannery rooms. If you have more than 1 car/4WD please contact the Park Manager before your arrival - during peak season you may be required to park the second vehicle outside park grounds

If you are towing a car and do not want to uncouple during your stay please contact the office to discuss before making your booking
